We were checking the www.DanMorrell.com stats and noticed that 278 people were looking for this weeks B96 Street Mix, before it was uploaded to the server. Looks like they cracked the code…hahaha. Lesson learned, at least 5% of the audience wants the mixes sooner. We had to do the remix…. and now it’s my FIRST OFFICIAL track for sale on iTunes. I’m sure you’ve heard me play it in my mixes, but at last you can own the remix version of Vi’s Yea Yo by  Soundmaster T & Dan Morrell (ME).

Peter Goutos, supervising attorney for the state’s attorney’s traffic division, said his office has filed its own motion in the case seeking to have the Cook County judge who gets the case “take judicial notice” that LIDAR is already accepted in DuPage County courts and elsewhere around the country. DuPage County Judge Bruce Kelsey found the technology accurate and reliable in May 2007 after a Frye hearing.

Hahahah….Anyone know a good lawer in DuPage that can get me off for less than the fine???

JM Couture Fashion Show 11.13.09

This Friday is going to be a special treat for you all! Topping last Friday at AntiPasto in Addison isn’t an easy task for anyone… But another PACKED HOUSE IS A PROMISE!  This week I’m performing with one of my favorite Chicago artists, Jim Mullin. I almost forgot to mention… he is going to be arriving in style with 20 HOT models for the JM Couture Fashion Show.

It’s  been about 4 years since I’ve had this site live. Myspace has been my “website” but with myspace losing my interest and so many other social networks coming and going, I wanted a home base to connect with people like you!

I will still maintain a presence on Facebook, Twitter, iTunes and YouTube…but will save the most exclusive content for DanMorrell.com.

There are so many cool things on the site and since I’ve been getting used to carrying my Flip Mino HD video camera everywhere I go, so expect to see frequent video updates, like these vids from my Japan Tour. My mixshow mixes will continue to be posted weekly (around 200 mixes currently ready FOR FREE DOWNLOAD). The store has EVERY MIX CD from my days as DJ Smurf and the most current ones as well, some of which are available for FREE.
